Flensburg has two universities. Flensburg University and Flensburg University of Applied Sciences.

The reason for this will be found in very special educational system in Germany. In fact both universities have the same degrees: Bachlor and Master. It's not ony for this people can't declare to have different adminstrations... However they have a common library.



Although the library claims to a academic library, you'll find just a German homepage. They have to improve...

The main building at Flensburg University was contructet for maximal 2.700 students. In fact UF has more than 4.200 students...

An additional building shall be ready to use in autumn 2010.



At the moment all works are frozen. Even we have a bright and sunny day it's cold. For cold to continue building works.

Days are becoming longer :-)))



So it's possible to see a rising sun when University lectures get started at morning.

It wasn`t the last cut of gras in september as I remember. But at this time a stone was by a mowing machine into the bus shelter.





A lot of time later the missing window is still not repaired. Real bullshit if you're waiting at windy and icy cold Campus :-(((

During winter it's possible to see how trees will become green in spring time - or even not.

This one died...



.. and that one has gone: Destroyed, stolen or in an other way gone



However, no one takes care of trees at University campus. Neither adminstration of Flensburg University and administration of Flensburg University of Applied Sciences nore city administration or adminstration of both university owning federal state Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel.

In every case it's a splend of taxes! Nature has still no economic value...

...disappeared the snow. Now it's more grey than green and still wet and cold.
But Flensburg isn't Cape Town ;-)

... in Flensburg. There' s no more snow but freezing degrees.
And the sun.. but see it yourself ;-)

Meanwhile the winter silence in the garden plots near University Campus are a lot of activities. A new public indoor swimming pool will be build.

The tower crane in the background denies not the disapperence of some gardens. And they had been not the last ones...
